Music lessons for all ages and levels
What to expect
The student learns the necessary playing positions, musicality and musical notation in a balanced manner. Colors promote the perception of music and therefore work particularly well for students with perceptual difficulties, also for students with no prior training in musical notation.
Group lessons are at the heart of learning, because they place lessons in a motivating context. Group lessons are not obligatory but highly recommended. Group lessons allow you to share a sense of accomplishment and provide powerful motivation to learn. The repertoire varies according to the different musical genres and each concert has its own theme.
The concert brings together students from different backgrounds, advanced and beginners, who play side by side in a friendly, collaborative and supportive spirit.
Throughout the school year, we attend a variety of educational events, including student concerts. We also make joint appearances in different contexts with different partners.
Why us ?
Our teaching is based on goodwill and we strive to listen to the needs and abilities of our students. Our teaching method '' Colourstrings '' is very child-centered and therefore differs from traditional learning methods. Our teacher brings his own Finnish culture and this unique way of teaching to the classroom.
At least not yet, no other schools use this as their primary method of teaching. Colourstrings founder Geza Szilvay said: “The Colourstrings method is the most child-centered method of violin teaching available.”
